Stanford University’s Lyman Assets consist of two four-story Lyman Graduate Residence apartment buildings and one commons building located on the west side of the campus at 121 Campus Drive West on the Stanford University grounds. The commons building includes a circular outdoor area, large lounge, kitchen, piano practice room, computer cluster, mail room, offices, laundry room, storage, and outdoor barbecue area.

Retained by Stanford University, Interactive Resources, Inc., in collaboration with other consultants is providing architecture and engineering services for the Lyman Asset Renewal. This includes various interior and exterior building systems upgrades, including roof replacement, interior painting, finishes updates, bathroom upgrades, elevator modernization, and other building element renewal. Exterior improvements include repairs to the façade cladding, painting, and bike locker improvements. In addition to the roofing replacement, new exhaust fans, roofing vents, walk pads, and parapet caps will be provided.

Interior improvements include new LED light fixtures, code signage, all new plumbing fixtures, water heater and water storage tank, concrete flooring refinishing, new ceramic floor and wall tile, resilient flooring, and window coverings. Student apartments are being upgraded to include keyless entry access control, new cabinet refacing, kitchen appliances, and ceiling fans. The elevators are being upgraded with new controls, panels, equipment, and lighting.
