Interactive Resources, Inc. was retained by CB Richard Ellis to revitalize an auditorium for the San Ramon Valley Conference Center (SRVCC), a conference and training facility. The auditorium’s outdated lighting and acoustical systems required extensive upgrading to meet SRVCC’s goal of providing state-of-the-art conference space for its clients.

A suspended acoustical system was designed with panels of two varieties, to balance the acoustical environment. Interactive Resources, Inc. worked closely with AfterImage + Space, a lighting consultant, to provide a flexible combination of direct, indirect and theatrical lighting. An important feature of the design is that it creates a completely flexible auditorium. The space accommodates many purposes including: lectures, meetings, trade shows, corporate training sessions, receptions, and even weddings.
